YES, I’M A COACH…BUT I’M NOT PERFECT.
I still have days when I feel tired and low on energy.
Especially if I’ve stayed up late and not gone to bed when I promised myself that I would 🤦🏻‍♀️
But I mean, sometimes it’s the only time I get to myself…once all the kids have gone to bed.
I’m sure other mamas will be able to relate? 😂
So on those days, I’ve learned how to give myself an energy boost in 4 different ways:
1️⃣ Get your body moving with some exercise: Regularly squeezing a workout into your day even if you can spare only 10 minutes at a time will help keep your energy levels at their peak.
2️⃣ Put Peppermint and Wild Orange oil in your diffuser and take some deep breaths: Peppermint’s sweet aroma is an instant pick me up for many people.
3️⃣ Fuel your body with nutritious foods: Have a nutritious bite to eat such as a snack that combines protein with slow-burning carbs eg banana slices with peanut butter, or granola with fresh berries. These are best for maintaining your blood sugar levels over the long term.
4️⃣ Hang out with upbeat friends: Emotions are surprisingly contagious. People who are constantly negative and down can sap your energy, while those who are always up and excited can give you a real lift.
Have you tried one of these methods before? How did you find it in boosting your energy levels?
