Profile
In 2010 I made the conscious decision that my future would be to utilize my passion for supporting people to increase their capability, make purposeful change and move toward the good life. To commence my journey from senior corporate leader to evidence-based coach, I graduated with a Master of Applied Science (Psychology of Coaching) at the University of Sydney in 2012.
I remained in a corporate role honing my coaching capability and contributing to organization effectiveness and wellbeing. In late 2017 I moved to work full-time as an executive coach. To top up my positive psychology evidence base, I graduated with a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne in December 2019. In 2021 the International Coach Federation (ICF) recognised my expertise and over 1,000 hours of professional coaching by credentialing me as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
Since moving to work full-time as a coach, I have accumulated over 2,000 hours of coaching with more than 180 individuals. I partner with people from all walks of life and across the globe as they pursue purposeful change, build their capability, and increase their wellbeing. As a coach, I create an environment for people to be comfortable with the discomfort associated with identifying the best path forward for them and building the capability to make the changes they need.
Each person comes to coaching with unique needs. My role as a coach is to craft an evidence-based coaching program that meets their needs. Programs may include valid and reliable instruments and 360 feedback to support developing insight.
Coaching can take place wherever two people can meet privately. When coaching was emerging, it was usually conducted face to face to enable body language feedback. Coaching sessions can take place remotely using technology, or face to face at your workplace or at convenient meeting place.
Coaching sessions generally run for 1 to 1 ½ hours, typically scheduled every two to three weeks depending on where the Coachee is in their journey. At times it may be in the Coachee’s and their organisation’s interest to accelerate the coaching to weekly over the first four weeks.
When coaching, my focus is on your journey. My role is to help challenge your thinking through deep questions that drive reflection to identify your pathways. As an evidence-based coach, do not expect me to have the answers; my focus is on scaffolding you to find your answers by encouraging and helping you dig deeper.
I coach with compassion drawing on the evidence-base of purposeful change, positive psychology and coaching psychology that enables me to hold the space for the tension associated with deep reflection and decision-making. When coached by me expect to be challenged by questions that lead you to dig deep to identify where you are at and help you develop options to move you forward to achieving what is important to you.

I thoroughly recommend Chris as a coach as throughout the six month he spent time to get to know me and my various challenges, asking probing questions and providing reference reading materials to help me in my walk to be a better leader. Chris has vast industry experience which he applies and shared during these coaching which helped me to visualise improvement opportunities for myself.
